BOTOX® is a precise, well-studied tool for softening lines that come from facial expression. Dr. Hudgens favors a conservative dosing philosophy: refreshed, never frozen.
What it is.
BOTOX® is a purified neuromodulator that temporarily reduces the contraction of targeted facial muscles. The most common areas treated are forehead lines, frown lines between the brows, and crow's feet around the eyes. Treatment takes 10–15 minutes.
How we treat it.
Your visit starts with a brief consultation about goals and an assessment of the areas in question. Dr. Hudgens explains expected outcomes, units, and pricing before any treatment. Results appear over 5–10 days and typically last 3–4 months.
When to come in.
BOTOX® is a great fit if you're noticing lines that linger after your expression relaxes, or if you'd like to soften early dynamic lines as preventive maintenance.
Common questions.
Will I look frozen?
No. That's a function of dosing technique. We use a conservative approach so expression is preserved and the result reads as 'rested,' not 'done.'
Does insurance cover this?
